The Tennessee Volswomen basketball recruiting class is the third highest in the country, according to ESPN’s recruiting rankings released Thursday.
The rankings, which are compiled by recruiting analyst Keith Sargeant, were released by Sargeants team.
The Vols, ranked No. 2 nationally, are expected to have a record-setting recruiting class.
Tennessee, ranked fourth nationally, will have the second-highest class in the SEC.
The top 10 players in the class are expected.
Tennessee has nine scholarships in total and could be on the verge of adding a couple of more in the next couple of weeks.
Five-star prospect Michael Porter Jr., a 6-10 forward from Memphis, is the No. 1 overall recruit in Tennessee.
He is rated as the No 2 prospect in the state.
Tennessee is expected to add another four-star player in the coming days.
The five-star forward is projected as the Vols No. 3 overall prospect.
Tennessee currently has the nation’s No. 9 class, according the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
The No. 4 and No. 5 recruits in Tennessee are expected, as well.
The Volunteers are expected be recruiting well and adding talent to the Vol program.
The next recruiting class for Tennessee is scheduled to be announced next week.
Tennessee Vol student-athletes are the top recruits in the nation, according Sargean.
