The Nebraska recruiting class of 2019 will be made up of four players, including two offensive linemen, according to 247Sports’ Dave Hudgins.
Nebraska has had three offensive linemen committed, two defensive ends and one safety commit, and Hudgins also reported that the Sooners have the No. 2 quarterback in the 2019 class.
Nebraska and Clemson are the only programs that have two QBs in the class.
Oklahoma is expected to have the top two QB candidates in 2019, but the Huskers also have three offensive tackles and three defensive ends in the commit pool.
Okla’s top three QBs on the board in 2019 are quarterback Taysom Hill (Oklahoma), defensive tackle Laken Tomlinson (Okla) and defensive end Landon Johnson (Oklaho).
The Huskers have also been targeting three offensive lineman in the recruitment cycle.
Oklahos offensive tackle Chris Jernigan, a five-star prospect out of Alabama, has committed to Nebraska, but Hudgins reported that Oklahoma has offered a five spot to the junior.
Jernigan is a four-star recruit out of Georgia, and is the second offensive tackle to commit to Oklahoma.
Oklahoma is currently ranked No. 12 in the 2018 recruiting class.
