How to find the best recruiting class for Florida Football

The Florida Gators have a plethora of top-rated recruits in the 2018 class, and they could use another high-caliber quarterback.

According to 247Sports, Florida is the only program in the country with more than one player ranked in the top-20 in both quarterback and wide receiver.

They have a pair of four-star quarterbacks in Josh Rosen and Jalen Hurts, who were ranked among the top five prospects nationally in 2016.

They also have two five-star receivers in Deon Cain and Jalyn Holmes, who both were ranked in a top-25 class.

The Gators also have a trio of four and five-stars in Jake Fromm and Josh Robinson, who are ranked among Florida’s top 100 players.

The other top-ranked player is receiver/return specialist Justin Gilbert.

He has been rated as the No. 3 prospect in the nation, according to 247sports, and is the No, 11 receiver in the 2017 class.

The 2017 class also included three five- and six-star players, including defensive tackle David Njoku and linebacker J.T. Barrett, who each went to the top 10.

Florida also had two four-stars and one five-year recruit in Dante Pettis, who went to Miami in the fifth round.

In 2018, the Gators added two four and two-star linemen in Dwayne Thomas and D.J. Swearinger.

The offensive line was also bolstered by six-stars Jake Matthews and Jake Butt, and the defensive line was bolstered by five- stars David Shuler and Ryan Smith.
