Rutgers Basketball recruits two top recruits from Boston

Rutgers Basketball has signed two of the top prospects from Boston, according to sources.

The school’s website states that the new recruits, who will begin competing this season, are the top players in their respective programs.

Rutgers is one of five Division I schools that recruit overseas.

The others are Duke, Georgetown, Iowa State, Louisville and Michigan State.

The two recruits are senior forward Jai Paul and sophomore guard Dontae Staley.

Paul has spent his first two years in the D-League with the San Antonio Spurs, averaging 14.4 points and 6.2 rebounds per game.

Staley is averaging 8.8 points and 3.8 rebounds per contest.
