The Jewish Chronicle reported last week that a Jewish extremist group, called The Leadership Council of Jewish Athletes, had been recruiting Jewish high school athletes for their recruitment efforts, according to a source close to the group.
The group’s stated goal is to bring Jewish athletes into the U.S. and recruit them to become members of the Leadership Council, the source said.
In the Jewish Community, a group is defined as an organization or group that is devoted to a Jewish cause.
The Leadership Council is part of a larger Jewish extremist movement called the Jewish Youth Coalition, which advocates for a more integrated and more inclusive society.
In 2016, Jewish youth were involved in two attacks in which two teenagers, ages 14 and 15, were killed by two Jewish extremists, Rabbi Dovid Ruderman and Rabbi Moshe Schachter, in Florida.
In February 2017, two Jewish teens, ages 17 and 16, were shot and killed in New York City.
