Badgers head coach Todd Graham said on Monday that the program will recruit to help the program stay in the top 10 in the country for the 2019 recruiting cycle.
Gator247 reported on Monday morning that UAB is planning to add more recruits in the next few weeks, including some with scholarships and some from programs outside the state.
“We’re not going to go with one recruiting cycle, we’re going to be recruiting for two cycles, and we’re recruiting for three cycles,” Graham said during an interview on “The Mike & Mike Show” on SiriusXM College Sports Radio.
“I think we’re doing a good job at what we’re supposed to do and I think we’ll get better every year.”UAB is one of four programs currently ranked in the 247Sports composite rankings, with the other three being Florida, Alabama and Texas.
The Aggies’ recruiting efforts were highlighted in the past two weeks when ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU both released national rankings for the program.
In a video posted to Instagram on Monday, Graham said he expects the Aggies to recruit well this year and that it is not a matter of just filling out a list of players to get on the recruiting trail.
“The best thing that I can say about it is that we’re getting good recruiting to recruit for.
We’re recruiting good, high-character kids,” Graham told the outlet.
“It’s not going be one year, two years, three years.
It’s going to happen every year.
That’s what I think you can count on.
I think the guys are just doing it for the right reasons.”
